One of the great things about computer music is it opens up all sorts of interaction possibilities. It's pretty amazing what can be done with software, but that doesn't compare to what can be done with software + interactive hardware + creative human beings.
One of my favorite control devices is the minimalist LED button interface called Monome.
I added an articles section, and an article called Principle of Musical Decoupling. You may find it interesting or extremely boring, so read at your own risk.
Minor restructuring: I needed some more space in my nav menu, so I grouped the audio and visual sections under Media. No URLs were harmed in the making of this new section.
I posted a song I finished over the holidays: Mind and Heart.
I have a bunch of half-finished songs I need to complete so I can post them online. At my normal hobby-speed, that will probably take a while. In them meantime I wanted to figure out how to set up an mp3 player on this site, so I uploaded a song I made a long time ago to make sure everything is working correctly. You can listen to it here.
I uploaded a small sampling of some of the graphics work I have done using computers. You can take a look here.
Also added a placeholder Audio section where I'll be uploading music, but nothing is there yet. This pretty much establishes the structure of the site so now I can focus on adding content.
The site has some content! If you don't know anything about Max/MSP, start here. Othewise, jump right to the patch.
Just for fun I also added a silly little javascript program mouse trails.
After sitting on this domain for months, I finally launched the site today. There isn't much here yet, but it's time I got something out there. Expect a lot more to appear in the coming months. If you are interested in computer music, maybe the links page will keep you occupied.
