I had some downtime this summer and intended to write a lot of music. What actually happened: I ended up with a couple dozen half finished pieces that I'm not sure I'll ever complete. I got fed up with this so decided I'm going to finish a song no matter what. This song started with a recording accident and grew into a finished piece in less than 24 hours. Now why can't I do that all the time?
